Our Benefice of Burnley St Peter & St Stephen is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops’s guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

Mary’s Meals
Mary’s Meals provides chronically hungry children with one meal every school day, encouraging education that can lift them out of poverty in later life.
